Captain Dan McGonagle grew up in a family of fishermen, and has been fishing the San Diego Pacific for over 15 years. If you ask him, fishing is life, always has been, and always will be. As a 100 Ton Masters Captain with years of experience on 6-pack and larger sport fishing boats, Dan knows the fishery here well and loves to put guests on fish. Furthur is a 28′ Albemarle Express powered with twin Yanmar diesel inboard engines. She has a 260 gallon fuel capacity, giving her a 300 mile range at a cruise speed of 22 knots. This plus a 65 gallon bait tank, holding 3 scoops of sardines, allows for every fishing opportunity desirable. Furthur has a tuna tower with controls to boost fish-finding opportunities, and console seating to provide a comfortable ride for you and your crew. With a full head, microwave, and refrigerator, you’ll have a comfortable and memorable fishing experience aboard.
